Micaela Sharief DeMarquez of Mimi Ceramics is based in Portland, Oregon. She’s self taught and has been making pottery since 2014. Mica’s artistic vision is fueled by inspiration from fashion, architecture and interior design. She enjoys making practical, functional objects with sculptural influence and is currently exploring color through pigment tinting and airbrushing glazes to achieve soft gradients.
